Superstitious Glenn Murray reckons a change of footwear might have helped him enjoy a change of fortune at Withdean.
The Seagulls striker broke his 12-month home goal famine to send his side towards their win over Brentford.
He revealed: "I changed my shin pads and my boots so everything was new. I had to change something and it worked.

Albion chairman Tony Bloom is backing Gus Poyet in his quest for further loan signings after the manager missed out on several targets during the January transfer window.
The Seagulls have landed Newcastle winger Kazenga LuaLua since the loan window opened.
They have also been linked with Rowan Vine, although The Argus understands their interest in the QPR striker has cooled on cost grounds.

Albion fans are calling for a public poll on naming sections of the new Falmer Stadium after the club's heroes.
In the past few days Seagulls' supporters have told The Argus they would like one of the stands, gates or rooms at the new ground to be named after former club chairman Dick Knight .
But now some are suggesting a decision on which heroes are commemorated should be thrown open to public vote.

It took just over ten minutes before Howard Lederer decided to move all in at the final table on his short stack.
He ran A-10 into the pocket aces of Tony G, and after the board brought him only one 10, he left the table empty handed in eighth place.
The next major action took place when Billy Jordanou (pocket kings) doubled up through Tony G (pocket jacks) to grow his stack to 370,000.
