Volunteers are needed to assist in sprucing up greenspace outside the Palm Harbor Library.
Debbie Phillips, library spokeswoman, noted in 2008 the inside of the library underwent a complete renovation, with instillation of modern, energy-efficient windows, improved lighting, new carpeting and the addition of study rooms.
She said it became apparent that while the interior of the building was beautiful, the exterior desperately needed to be spruced up.
